Short resume:

I am a cognitive psychologist and my research has been focused on human visual perception from a cognitive and experimental perspective, to understand how humans visually perceive and behave; act upon their environment and how this dynamic interplay shapes us into whom we are. My objective is to apply the sensorio-biological model of perception/action to improve human capacities on learning and education. We use psychophysical techniques in order to provide human behavioral data, for the advancement of knowledge of the visual system that affects several areas of research, such as psychology, neuroscience and education among others; our goal is to understand how neurons and the brain create perceptions, actions and behaviors, and vice-versa.
