Short resume:

My present research is focused on the implications of circadian disruption on health, metabolism and behavior. We have developed a model in mice of "forced desynchronization" (i.e. a big mess) of the circadian system through chronic jet-lag, that allows us to study these alterations under controlled conditions in the lab. In my future work as a postdoc, I hope to move on to human subjects to study how conditions that stress normal bioogical rhythms can negatively affect cognitive features in adults and children.

In my spare time, as a person obsessed with the idea of time, I dream of discovering how our conception of duration and time scales arises in our brains across our lifetime.
